Horses must be shown on a triangle at the walk, trot and standing for conformation.
The handler will lead the horse to the apex of the triangle. Halt for 3 seconds the proceed at walk on the triangle. Once they have walked once around the perimeter of the triangle they will proceed to trot. Once they have completed one round of the perimeter they will halt at the apex for conformation judging.
At this point the person videoing will walk towards the horse. Once they are near enough that that whole horse is in the full frame of the camera they will slowly make a full circle of the horse to that the judge can judge the conformation. Once the person videoing has made a complete circle of the horse they must stand for 3 seconds and then the video may be stopped.
Braiding is optional but bridles are mandatory on all horses age two or older.
Videos will not be judged if any of the following occur:
If the horse is wearing boots or bandages.
If at ANY point the horse is not completely shown in the frame of the video the horse will be eliminated.
If the horse stops or changes gait on the triangle with exception of the transition from walk to trot and then trot to walk to halt the horse will be eliminated.
The video must be of a high enough quality that the judge can clearly see the horse and its conformation at all times.
Do not video from the other end of the arena or from behind a fence.
